Thomas Armstrong (November 13, 1785 - January 2, 1867) was an American politician from New York.
[1] The family initially settled near Stillwater, in Saratoga County, New York; however, sometime after the American Revolution, they were among the pioneer settlers of Wolcott (Wayne County, New York), where Armstrong was active in local government and politics.
He was Supervisor of the Town of Wolcott for part of 1818.
He was a member of the New York State Assembly (Seneca Co.) in 1820.
He was again a member of the State Assembly (Wayne Co.) in 1827, 1828, and 1829; and Chairman of the Board of Supervisors of Wayne County in 1829, 1830, 1831, and 1833.
