Thomas Britton Harris IV

[1] In 2013 Harris was announced as the recipient of the aiCIO's Lifetime Achievement Award.

He began his career at Texas Utilities, leaving to join Asea Brown Boveri.

[4] He subsequently left Verizon to serve as the chief executive officer of Bridgewater Associates, at the time the largest hedge fund in the world.

[1] [10] Harris is a member of the President's Working Group on Financial Markets,[11] the Federal Reserve Bank of New York's Investor Advisory Committee on Financial Markets,[12] and has also served in several leadership positions in the investment community, including chairman of the Council for the Investment of Employee Benefit Assets and an advisor to the New York Stock Exchange.
