Thomas Hardcastle Sykes (15 February 1833 – 25 April 1901) was an English bleacher and businessman and was High Sheriff of Cheshire.
He went to Rugby School[1] and then joined the family bleaching business.
Sykes lived at Cringle House on Schools Hill Cheadle, where he died aged 68.
Their son Alan Sykes continued the family business and was MP for Knutsford.
His nephew Percy Sykes was a soldier and explorer of Central Asia.
