Thomas Jacob (journalist)

Thomas Jacob is an Indian former journalist who was the editorial director of Malayala Manorama.

He was interviewed for the post of a cartoonist at Malayala Manorama newspaper but it turned out that his destiny was to become the editorial head of the largest selling vernacular daily in India.

He was bestowed with the prestigious Swadeshabhimani-Kesari award instituted by the state government of Kerala for significant contributions to Malayalam journalism.

Thomas Jacob, known for his witty presentation and writing skills, is one of the best journalism teachers in India.

Even when he was working with Malayala Manorama, literally most of the media groups, including that of competitors, used to invite him for training their staff.
