Thomas N. McClellan (February 23, 1853 – February 10, 1906) was an associate justice of the Supreme Court of Alabama from 1889 to 1898, and chief justice from 1898 to 1906.
[2] In 1889, a fourth seat was added to the state supreme court, to which McClellan was appointed.
[3] He died during a train journey with his nephew Thomas C. McClellan, at the age of 52.
[4] Thomas C. McClellen was elected to the supreme court later that same year.
