Thomas Nevers

Nevers graduated from E. O. Smith High School in 1974 where he was a four sport letterman (soccer, baseball, golf and track).

Smith High School Athletic Hall of Fame.

[2] He then attended the University of Connecticut where he played on the men's soccer team from 1974 to 1977.

Nevers turned professional in 1978 with the Chicago Sting of the North American Soccer League.

In 1979, he moved to the Memphis Rogues where he played two outdoor seasons.
