Toktogul (Kyrgyz: Токтогул району) is a district of Jalal-Abad Region in western Kyrgyzstan.

[3] The town and district are named after its most famous son - the musician Toktogul Satylganov.

The Toktogul reservoir is a geographical feature of the district and the capital lies on the north shore.

The district is located in the southern part of the region within the Naryn river valley.
