Thomas Hoad AM (born 22 March 1940) is an Australian water polo coach and former player.
[2] He is currently a director of the national controlling body Australian Water Polo.
Hoad represented Australia in water polo at the Olympic Games four times, in 1960, 1964, 1968 and 1972, as well as being captain from 1964 to 1972.
Hoad coached the 'Fremantle Mariners' to three Australian National League titles out of an unprecedented nine consecutive grand final appearances.
