He is known for his role in the HBO television series Gentleman Jack and the Channel 4 drama Patience as well as his role in the film Redeeming Love.

Lewis was born and grew up in Leeds before moving to London and graduating from RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Art) where he trained on a full scholarship.

[1] Whilst still a teenager in training at RADA, Lewis graduated early when he was cast in a leading role in the historical drama series Gentleman Jack.

[2] He also had early television roles in A Discovery of Witches and Shakespeare & Hathaway: Private Investigators.

[3] In between screen roles, Lewis has spent time playing leading roles in theatres around the country, starring in productions for Headlong in London, Manchester Royal Exchange, Bristol Old Vic and Hampstead Theatre[4][5][6] After a worldwide search, Tom made his film debut in the romantic epic Redeeming Love alongside Abigail Cowen, which was released on 21 January 2022.
