Tommy Thompson (Kentucky politician)

Tommy N. Thompson (born October 10, 1948, in Owensboro, Kentucky) is an American politician and a Democratic member of the Kentucky House of Representatives from 2003 to 2017, representing district 14.

[1] Thompson was first elected in 2002 when Republican incumbent Mark Treesh retired to run for the Kentucky Senate.

He was defeated for reelection in 2016 by Matt Castlen.

Thompson earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Florida and his MBA from the Indiana University School of Business.
