Tonalea, Arizona

Tonalea (Navajo: Tó Nehelį́į́h) is a census-designated place (CDP) in Coconino County, Arizona, United States.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 9.7 square miles (25 km2), all land.

There were 135 housing units at an average density of 14.0 per square mile (5.4/km2).

The racial makeup of the CDP was 99.1% Native American, 0.7% White, and 0.2% from other races.

14.6% of all households were made up of individuals, and 2.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
