Tony Johnson (soccer)

He graduated in 1979 after finishing runner up for the North Carolina High School Soccer Player of the Year.

[1] He began his professional career in 1983 with the Pennsylvania Stoners of the American Soccer League.

[2] He spent part of 1984 with the New York Arrows of Major Indoor Soccer League.

He may have continued to play each summer with the Dynamos, as he is listed with the team when they defeated the Orlando Lions in 1987.

In the fall of 1984, he joined the Columbus Capitals of the American Indoor Soccer Association.
