Tonya Nero (born 27 November 1988)[1] is a Trinidad and Tobago long-distance runner.
Her best finish was 27th at the 2012 edition in Kavarna, Bulgaria, when she set the Trinidad & Tobago national record with a time of 1:15:13.
In 2019, she competed in the women's 10,000 metres at the Pan American Games held in Lima, Peru.
[7] Nero represented Trinidad and Tobago at the 2014 Commonwealth Games held in Glasgow, Scotland in the women's 10,000 metres event,[1] where she finished 12th out of 13 competitors.
She competed in the women's marathon at the 2018 Commonwealth Games held in Gold Coast, Australia,[9] finishing in 14th place.
