Toshiko Kobayashi (小林トシ子, Kobayashi Toshiko, 6 April 1932 – 29 December 2016) was a Japanese actress active from 1949 to 1980.
[1] She joined the Nichigeki Dancing Team in 1946.
In 1949, she was discovered by film director Keisuke Kinoshita and gave her film debut in his comedy Broken Drum.
[3] She was married to new wave film director Hiroshi Teshigahara from 1956 until his death in 2001, with whom she had two daughters.
