Tothill Creek, South Australia

Tothill Creek is a locality in the Mid North of South Australia.

it is in the District Council of Clare and Gilbert Valleys, 16 kilometres east of Saddleworth.

It was named for Charles Tothill, who held land under an occupation licence from 1843.

The Church of England was on a rise on the western side, overlooking the valley, with a cemetery behind it.

[6] A report in the Adelaide Observer in 1866 describes the population as a mixture of German and Irish farmers.
