[2] The religion's origins are tied to the 2012–13 Slovenian protests where thousands of people protested against members of the Slovenian political elite, including the mayor of Maribor Franc Kangler, the Prime Minister of Slovenia Janez Janša, the opposition leader and mayor of Ljubljana Zoran Jankovič, and corruption in politics in general.

Among other things, the church requires members to have sex once per week, and forbids sexual assault and planting of genetically modified crops.

[5] Every Wednesday, the members of the church gather around the "Temple of Corruption" (the National Assembly Building of Slovenia) for holy mass.

[5][10][11] The Church published its holy book in October 2014, with this being a compendium of articles, dogmas, gospels, revelations and other truths that form the basis for the theological contemplation of its followers.

It has been labelled as a parody religion by sociologist Marjan Smrke,[5] who compared it to the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster and Jediism.
