Travis Austin Greaves (born May 13, 1983) is an American lawyer who serves as a judge of the United States Tax Court.
He also served as an adjunct professor at Georgetown University Law Center and as an attorney advisor at the U.S. Tax Court.
Prior to his judicial appointment, he served as the Deputy Assistant Attorney General for Appellate and Review in the U.S. Department of Justice's Tax Division.
[2] On August 28, 2018, President Donald Trump nominated Greaves to serve as a Judge of the United States Tax Court.
[3] On January 3, 2019, his nomination was returned to the President under Rule XXXI, Paragraph 6 of the United States Senate.
