Trimeresurus sabahi barati, commonly known as the Sumatran green pit viper[1] or the Barat bamboo pitviper,[3][4] is a subspecies of Trimeresurus sabahi.
[3] The IUCN Red List treats it as a distinct species,[1] and others have considered it subspecies of Trimeresurus popeiorum or Trimeresurus gramineus.
[3] It is endemic to Sumatra (Indonesia), including some nearby smaller islands.
[4] Found in Indonesia on Sumatra and in the Mentawai Archipelago.
