Triviella magnidentata

Triviella magnidentata is a species of small sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Triviidae, the false cowries or trivias.

[1] The mantle is pale to dark grey, densely covered by fine, low, white protuberances.

The cephalic tentacles are slender, cylindrical, rounded at the tips and white in colour.

The shell is inflated pyriform up to 22mm long, commonly humped over the back third, tapering gradually towards the forward end.

The labrum is fairly narrow and solidly formed, and may extend slightly beyond the body of the shell.
