Turton, South Dakota

Turton is a town in Spink County, South Dakota, United States.

[7] It was named after Turton, England, the native home of an early settler.

[10] Turton High School existed from 1915 to 1956, when it was closed due to a shortage of funds, teachers and too few students to qualify for state aid.
