According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.97 square miles (2.51 km2), all land.

The racial makeup of the village was 98.9% White, 0.6% Native American, and 0.6% from other races.

19.1% of all households were made up of individuals, and 4.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

27.6% of all households were made up of individuals, and 17.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

About 22.4% of families and 25.9% of the population were below the poverty line, including 40.5% of those under the age of eighteen and 6.3% of those 65 or over.
