USCGC Guthrie

USRC Guthrie was a small patrol vessel, built for the United States Revenue Cutter Service in 1895.

Benjamin Bottoms served as a radio operator aboard her, early in World War II.

[1][2] Guthrie was a steel-hulled vessel powered a triple expansion steam engine.

[5] On May 30, 1903 she was involved in a minor collision with the steamship Queen Anne in the area of Baltimore, suffering only $80 in damage.

During World War II she patrolled Portland, Maine.
