The racial makeup of the village was 96.73% White, 2.55% Native American, 0.36% Asian, and 0.36% from two or more races.
About 4.9% of families and 5.1% of the population were below the poverty line, including 4.9% of those under the age of eighteen and none of those 65 or over.
