[4][5] In 1422 AD, Ahmad Shah I ascended the throne with the help of Devraj and Hussain Basri.
[3] He was crowned with full sovereignty-the Bahmani Sultanate rose against the Kingdom of Vijayanagara.
[2][4][5] In the year 1437 AD, a Bahmani expedition was sent toward the Konkan, where Ugrasen and his brother Pratap Singh took part in the campaign and helped subdue the area.
[3] Next, Ugrasen and Pratap Singh participated in the capture of Rohankhed, under the command of Khalif Hussain Basari, who was also involved in plundering the treasury of Khandesh.
[4] In 1446 AD, during another campaign in the Konkan, Khalif Hussain Basari was killed and Ugrasen taken captive, though he was released later.
