Ulken Koskol

[1][2] Saumalkol town, the district capital (formerly Volodarskoye), is located 12 kilometers (7.5 mi) to the southwest.

Kenashchi village lies 1 kilometer (0.62 mi) to the southwest of the southwestern shore.

The bottom is flat and the lakeshore clayey and gently sloping, [4] Ulken Koskol is located in an area where there are numerous lakes.

River Kamysakty has its sources a little to the NW of the northern end of Ulken Koskol.

Since the water is salty and has high mineral content it is not suitable for drinking.
