United Nations Office in Armenia

The United Nations Office in Armenia (Armenian: Միավորված ազգերի կազմակերպության հայաստանյան գրասենյակ, romanized: Miavorvats azgeri kazmakerput’yan hayastanyan grasenyak) is the permanent representation of the United Nations in Armenia.

Its headquarters are located in Armenia's capital, Yerevan.

The UN Office in Armenia works closely with the Government of Armenia to support the country in achieving key sustainable development goals and national development priorities.

The UN and the Armenian government work together in partnership with broader stakeholders including with civil society, academia, parliament, the private sector and other development partners.

Some of the key goals within the "Armenia Transformation Strategy 2050" include promoting the well-being of people, developing an inclusive green economy, advancing good governance and democratic reforms, supporting gender equality, eliminating poverty and hunger, improving water quality and sanitation, developing the economy, and reducing inequalities.
