The winner of that race was Ted Deutch of the Democratic Party, who sought re-election on November 2.
Jeff Miller sought re-election, and won by a landslide against challenging Independents Joe Cantrell and John Krause.

Ross won the general election with 48% of the vote; Edwards garnered 41%, and 11% of the voters chose Wilkinson.
