Unni Maria Lindell (born 3 April 1957 in Oslo) is a Norwegian writer.
She is best known for her whodunits crime novels, but has also written a collection of poems and several books for children and young adults.

Lindell was awarded the Mads Wiel Nygaards Endowment in 1998 and the Critics' Prize for the year's best children's or youth literature.
[2] In 1999 and in 2018 she received the Riverton Prize (Rivertonprisen), a literature award given annually to the best Norwegian detective story.
