Ursula Magdalena Prestel was born on 27 November 1777 in Nuremberg, Holy Roman Empire (now Bavaria, Germany).

During this time, he hired Anton Radl, Johann Georg Reinheimer, and Ursula to assist with copperplate engravings for his publishing house.
