Vadim Kumin

Vadim Valentinovich Kumin (Russian: Вадим Валентинович Кумин; born 1 January 1973) is a Russian political figure and a deputy of the 6th, 7th, and 8th State Dumas.

In 1996, upon the invitation of the Minister of Energy, he moved to Moscow, where he held the position of the Executive Rector of the United Electric Power Complex Corporation.

On October 11, 2009, he was elected deputy of the Moscow City Duma of the 5th convocation.

In Spring 2018, he ran in the 2018 Moscow mayoral election but lost to Sergey Sobyanin.
