Valdora is a rural locality in the Sunshine Coast Region, Queensland, Australia.
Farming and timber followed, along with fruit, dairying and sugarcane, which remains a rural economy.
Its name was replaced Valdora in order to avoid confusion with another Golden Valley abroad in Queensland.

The 15 megawatt (MW) fixed tilt solar farm is able to fully offset the council's electricity use.
