[4] For the first half of the 2011 Armenian Premier League season, Aleksanyan conducted at a high level, the result of which was a welcome invitation back to the national team.

In the summer transfer window, Ulisses had received an offer to buy the player.

Aleksanyan played for the Armenia national football team for the first time on 18 February 2004.

Aleksanyan played the entire game in a friendly match with the Panama national team.

This was followed by calls to the team, but when taking part in the first two matches, Aleksanyan failed to amaze.
