The racial makeup of the township was 93.54% White, 1.07% African American, 0.24% Native American, 0.66% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.69% from other races, and 3.80% from two or more races.
37.60% of all households were made up of individuals, and 18.50% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
