Varposht (Persian: ورپشت)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Varposht Rural District[4][b] of the Central District of Tiran and Karvan County, Isfahan province, Iran.
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 2,908 in 855 households.
[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 2,759 people in 945 households.
It is the most populous village in its rural district.
