In the private sector, he served as the Chief Technology Officer of ReNew Power, a multibillion-dollar company that is India's largest producer of renewable energy, and was earlier a consultant for McKinsey & Co.[14] Sivaram serves on the boards of the Atlantic Council and the Breakthrough Institute and is a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader and member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
Sivaram argues, however, that solar's current surge is on track to stall, dimming prospects for averting catastrophic climate change.
