Vasili Vasilievich Golovachov (Russian: Василий Васильевич Головачёв; born June 21, 1948, Russia) is a modern Russian science fiction writer, known in Russian-speaking countries for writing both hard science fiction and sci-fi/fantasy mixes.
The works combines space science fiction, esotericism, Slavic neopaganism and pseudohistory.
[1] Golovachev made his debut 50 years ago in 1969 with the short story “Evolution”.
[3] In 2004, he was awarded the Aelita Prize in the nomination “contribution to fiction.”[4][5] In 2008, on the occasion of the writer's 60th birthday, the book “Vasyl Holovachev.
A Man of Purpose”, which included interviews with the writer, his wife, as well as the writer's correspondence with admirers of his talent on his website, and prefaces to his books, compiled by another Russian science fiction writer and prominent critic of the genre Gennady Prashkevich.
