[1] Malinovsky graduated from the philosophy faculty of Moscow State University, where his father once worked.
Having strong command of English, he was appointed to the staff of the Russian diplomatic mission to England.
Upon return to Russia, he was appointed to the peace congress at Yassi to conduct diplomacy at the end of the Russo-Turkish War.
Upon return to Moscow in 1802, Malinovsky published the journal Fall Evenings («Осенние вечера»), where he published his essays "On War", "Love of Russia", "History of Russia", "Personal Side" («Своя сторона»).
Malinovsky helped to finance and administer a lyceum at Tsarskoe Selo until the Napoleonic War of 1812.
