Vave V. Founuku (born 20 June 1928) was a Tuvaluan politician who served as Speaker of Parliament from 1981 to 1989.

He was re-elected in the 1989 general election.
Following the 1998 general election he was succeeded by Samuelu Teo.
[6] In 1997 he was made an Ordinary Officer of the Civil Division of the said Most Excellent Order of the British Empire for community, public and political servcices.
