Velenov is a municipality and village in Blansko District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.

It has about 300 inhabitants.

Velenov lies approximately 15 kilometres (9 mi) north-east of Blansko, 33 km (21 mi) north of Brno, and 180 km (110 mi) east of Prague.
