Verkhotor (Russian: Верхото́р) is a rural locality (a selo) and the administrative centre of Verkhotorsky Selsoviet, Ishimbaysky District, Bashkortostan, Russia.

Verkhotor is located 41 km southeast of Ishimbay (the district's administrative centre) by road.

Kuznetsovsky is the nearest rural locality.
