Victor Lim

He is Professor of Pathology and Pro Vice-Chancellor (formerly called Vice-President) of the International Medical University in Kuala Lumpur.

He then obtained an MSc in Medical Microbiology from the University of London in 1978, and passed the Royal College of Pathologists examination (MRCPath) in 1981.

After joining the International Medical University (IMU) as a Professor of Pathology, he has been a member of the university's senior management committee as Executive Dean from 2004 to 2011, as Vice President for Education from 2011 and, following a change in senior management titles, as Pro Vice-Chancellor from 2016.

[2] He is still actively involved in teaching for Doctor of Pathology (Clinical Microbiology) students in National University Of Malaysia.

In addition to antimicrobial resistance and infectious diseases, he is involved in research on medical education.
