Village Creek is an unincorporated community in Allamakee County, Iowa, United States.
[1] The first flour mill in Allamakee County was established at Village Creek in 1853.
The villages of Milton, Village Creek, and Howard Center were platted in quick succession in December 1854, March 1857, and September 1857, respectively.
[2] On June 24, 1882, the Village Creek valley experienced record flooding, and the residents of Village Creek were threatened with swiftly rising waters.
