[2] As a sophomore, Edwards averaged 11.3 points and 5.4 rebounds per game and toyed with the NBA draft before deciding to return to Purdue.

[4] While Edwards was a key player for Purdue during the season, he tended to raise his level of play in the NCAA tournament for the Boilermakers.
