Vincent Kympat

Ordained to the priesthood in 1977, Kympat became bishop of the Jowai Diocese in 2006.

[1] Kympat was from Tluh, a remote village in Jaintia Hills.

[1] Kympat was the chairman of the Small Christian Communities Commission in North Eastern Regional Bishops' Council of India.

He was appointed Bishop of Jowai on 28 January 2006 and was ordained on 2 April 2006.
