Vinod Kumar Paul is an Indian pediatrician and physician scientist currently serving as Member, NITI Aayog.

He earlier served as professor of neonatology at the Department of Pediatrics, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi from 1985 to 2020.

[1] In August 2017, he was appointed as a Member of the NITI Aayog[2] where he is in charge of the Health and Nutrition vertical.

In the wake of the COVID – 19 pandemic, Paul chairs the National Task Force on COVID-19 and the Empowered Group on Medical Emergency Management Plan.

Paul has contributed towards formulating the POSHAN Abhiyaan,[18] the Government of India's overarching scheme to improve the nutritional outcomes for children, pregnant women and lactating mothers.
