Virgilina, Virginia

Virgilina is a town in Halifax County, Virginia, United States.

It is named "Virgilina" because it is located on the Virginia and North Carolina border.

According to the United States Census Bureau, Virgilina has a total area of 0.62 square miles (1.6 km2), all of it land.

[5] The town center sits on a small ridge, with both sides draining to tributaries of Aarons Creek, which flows north to the Dan River, part of the Roanoke River watershed.

43.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 23.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
