Vitalis Takawira

Vitalis "Digital" Takawira (born September 24, 1972[1] in Salisbury) is a retired Zimbabwean football player.

He came to prominence in Zimbabwe while playing for popular Harare outfit, Dynamos, where he was top goal scorer for five seasons.

Takawira was the top scorer in the Zimbabwean First Division three times and won the African Golden Boot in 1994.

He signed with Major League Soccer in 1996, and was allocated to Kansas City Wiz (later Wizards).
