Vladimir Kirillin

Vladimir Alekseyevich Kirillin (Russian: Владимир Алексеевич Кириллин; January 20 [O.S.

From 1954 to 1962 he took leading positions at the Soviet ministries of science and higher education.

In 1963-1965 he served as vice-president of the Soviet Academy of Sciences, and in 1965 he was appointed as deputy chairman of the Council of Ministers of the USSR and chairman of the State Committee for Science and Technology (GKNT) of the Council of Ministers of the USSR.

In 1966 Kirillin became a member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.

[1] Kirillin’s scientific research focused on the thermophysical properties of solids, liquid water and its vapor.
