[1][2][3] Volodymyr Trush was born on 12 April 1980 in the village of Luchyntsy, Rohatyn Raion, Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast.

The same year, he graduated from the Dubno branch of the Open International University for Human Development "Ukraine" (Bachelor of Laws).

[2] From November 28, 2019, to March 19, 2020, he was the Head of the Rohatyn District State Administration of the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast.

[4][5] On 18 March 2020, the Cabinet of Ministers supported Trush's appointment to the post of Governor of Ternopil Oblast.

[7] On 29 December 2023 Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Trush as Governor of Ternopil Oblast.
