William Henry Romaine-Walker (27 January 1854 – 10 May 1940) was an English architect and interior decorator.
[1] Romaine-Walker was born in Bury, Lancashire, the son of Rev.
[2][3] His father was the vicar at St Saviour's, Pimlico.
He was educated at Lancing College,[4] and then articled to the architect George Edmund Street.
[5] He was elected an Associate of the Royal Institute of British Architects in 1881,[5] and in the same year began working in a partnership with Augustus William Tanner, which lasted until 1896.
